Caramel CornF

Caramel-coated popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • popcorn big roasting pan full

Instructions

  • Blend together brown sugar, white sugar, corn syrup, and butter.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring often.
  • When boiling, do not stir; let cook for 5 minutes (use a timer).
  • Add baking soda and stir quickly.
  • Pour the caramel mixture over a big roasting pan of popcorn.
  • Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes to coat evenly.
